Amma Dairy lo Konni Pegeelu
Nenu vadilesukunna na jeevitham....nenu rayani na jeevithapu diary loni pegeelu - Amma dairy lo konni pegeelu
It sounds like completely different language for non Telugu Speakers right? yes this line is from a telugu book called Amma diary lo konni pegeelu by Ravi Mantri. This book created a sensation in the hearts Telugu people . It's a love story and moreover it's a Mother love story.
I read a Telugu book after a long time because I felt I was finding difficult to read Telugu by reading only English novels and other kind of books. So I decided to read a Telugu book.
The book contains simple language with some heartfelt sentences. The main character is Sarika, who matures from teenager to mother by controlling and sacrificing her feelings. Nanda Gopal accepts people for who they truly are. Abhiram is a character who understands and accepts people's feelings. Jittu is a son of Sarika and loves his mother unconditionally. Geethanjali is a remarkable girl with a deep understanding of traditions, and she gives Sarika and Abhiram a new lease on life.
While reading this book, I cried a lot. It's raised some questions in my mind about people's mindsets. How do people accept a second person as a life partner after having already had one? If the second partner leaves or dies, why do some people reconnect with their first partner? How can people show love to two different people? Is it possible for both loves to be genuine? Now I don't have any answers but I think it's completely choice of people. This book really throws you back to the 90s in Andhra, it's a whole different vibe. I feel like a lot of girls would see themselves in Sarika, but not every girl should end up like her. Honestly, it messed me up emotionally for a few days.
